Viewing time: 2m 36s
What you will learn:
Women are generally pretty fertile until the age of 30
Fertility starts to decline after 30 and more so at 35
It will take approximately 4-5 months for a healthy couple in their twenties to fall pregnant
(Remember, these are averages and it is perfectly normal to fall outside of this timeframe)
This timeframe increases as the woman ages
90% of healthy couples conceive within a year of trying
After 35, a woman may need assistance and there is support and help available in NZ
Taking care of your health and eating a nutritious diet really does help
Seek help if you haven’t conceived after one year of trying if you are under 35, or after 6 months if you are over 35.
