We have included this short video from the NHS in the UK as it gives great quick advice on how to find a comfortable sleeping position when pregnant.

How can I sleep comfortably during pregnancy?

Viewing time: 1m 2s

What you will learn:

  • Try lying on your side, using pillows between your legs to support yourself and promote sleep
  • Lying on your left improves blood flow to the placenta (more nutrients for the baby!)
  • But you don’t need to stay in this position all night
  • Try massaging your lower spine if you can reach (or – preferably – ask for a message), this may help you drift to sleep.
